Children's Hospital was founded in 1952 by 5 mothers, and has become one of the largest service areas of any children's hospital in the nation. The hospital covers over 45,000 square miles, employes 500 doctors practicing in over 40 pediatric subspecialties, and has grown from treating 2,000 patients in 1952, to over 12,000 in 2006. Including 63,000 emergency & urgent care visits and 9,000 surgeries.

Michael Parks
started ballooning over 20 years ago in the Mid-West United States. He was an officialâ Balloon Federation of America Observer for many hot air balloon competitions, including the Canadian/American Balloon Challenge and the 1993 Gordon Bennett Gas Balloon Race in Albuquerque, NM.

Brent Stockwell
Brent is the co-owner & chief flight instructor of Balloon Excelsior, Inc., a FAA-Approved Balloon Flight School. His previous occupations include: FAA-Designated Pilot Examiner, Aviation Safety Counselor, and a Co-Owner & Chief Inspector, of a FAA-Approved Balloon Repair Station.
