Children's Hospital was founded in 1952 by 5 mothers, and has become one of the largest service areas of any children's hospital in the nation. The hospital covers over 45,000 square miles, employes 500 doctors practicing in over 40 pediatric subspecialties, and has grown from treating 2,000 patients in 1952, to over 12,000 in 2006. Including 63,000 emergency & urgent care visits and 9,000 surgeries.

About Color The Skies
Color The Skies, Inc. is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2006 by Jessica Coleman.
The primary purpose of Color The Skies, Inc. is to raise awareness and financial support for Children's Hospital Central California. Color The Skies Hot Air Balloon Festival is held in Ripon, California, over Labor Day Weekend annually. Proceeds benefit Children's Hospital Central California, where both Jessica and her husband, Greg have served on various hospital boards for the past decade.
